Dr Sushma Suresh Kale
Founder & Adviser, Yogaarthi School of Indic Studies
Yogaarthi School of Indic Studies is the brainchild of Dr. Sushama Suresh Kale, a Ph.D. holder in Yoga and Positive Psychology from the University of Mumbai. As an esteemed academician with a passion for holistic well-being, Dr. Kale, along with Mr. Suresh Kale, envisions fostering an environment where individuals can explore the depths of yoga and Indian knowledge systems.
In the Bhagavad Gita, amidst the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Arjuna seeks solace from Lord Krishna, grappling with the tumultuous nature of the mind. In response, Krishna imparts timeless wisdom, emphasizing the path of disciplined practice (abhyasa) and detachment (vairagya) as the means to harnessing the mind’s fleeting nature.
At YOGAARTHI, we echo these sacred teachings, recognizing the transformative power of inner mastery. Our educational ethos is rooted in the essence of “Prajnanam Brahma,” guiding students towards a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. Through rigorous academic pursuit coupled with spiritual contemplation, we aim to nurture individuals who embody wisdom, compassion, and resilience.
In addition to academic excellence, our curriculum integrates the profound heritage of Indian traditions, languages, and culture. We believe that preserving linguistic diversity is essential, as language serves as a vessel for preserving ancient wisdom and cultural identity.
